Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Sam Elliott are Cast in Yellowstone’s Prequel Series, 1883

It’s official! Announcements have been made for Paramount+ and MTV Entertainment Studios’ upcoming Yellowstone prequel, 1883. Paramount just confirmed the husband and wife country duo, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will play James and Margaret Dutton, with Oscar nominee Sam Elliott cast to star as a rugged cowboy named Shea Brennan.

Elliott, 76, will play the “tough as nails” cowboy Shea Brennan, while country music superstar couple Hill, 53, and McGraw, 54, will play Margaret and James Dutton, the family matriarch and patriarch.

“Just wait, you have never seen anything like this!” Faith Hill commented on Instagram of the upcoming series. Post below…

Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner, as modern-day Dutton patriarch. After making its debut on the Paramount network in 2018, it is scheduled to premiere its fourth season this fall.
